Tinkergarten helps kids between the ages of 18 months – 8 years develop and grow through outdoor play-based learning activities. It’s based on the belief that independent exploration, well-designed play scenarios, and just the right guidance are the keys to kids developing a host of important capabilities.
To the kids, it’s a chance to get messy, solve mysteries, make friends and have fun. For us, it’s a chance to get together with like-minded parents and learn effective ways to play and learn with our kids.

And YES it is worth the cost. These classes are more than a typical play group. We can do all the crafts we want at home with our kids, but getting them together with other children and learning to work together through carefully chosen scenarios is invaluable for their development. It’s also a great way to foster a love of nature and the outdoors with our kids!
