What better way to encourage your baby or toddler to make new friends? They need time to socialize – as much as we do! These great programs offer stories and fun learning experiences. Most of these Storytimes and Play & Learns are completely FREE !

Mondays

9:45 AM – Tiny Tots Storytime – Egelston Library

Play and Learn at Fellowship Church, Apple Ave. fun and free books for families with children 0-5 years. 1st and 3rd Mondays from 11 am -12:30 am.

$ Timeout for Moms Group at Rothbury Community Church from 9:30 – 11 AM on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month during the school year. This large mom group includes childcare and activities broken up by age during the meeting! Moms enjoy breakfast, crafts, speakers and more. Free to try. Yearly membership fee in September. Runs from September 24 until the end of April. More info.

Reeths-Puffer Play and Learn at McMillian Elementary, 2885 Hyde Park Rd. Pick up a grab and go Book Kit on certain Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:30 – 11:30 AM. Register by calling (231) 766-3443 ext.2620 (or just show up!). September through May. Info.

OAISD Play ‘n Learn – 10 AM at Central Park, Grand Haven. Children birth – 5. Monthly.

Wednesdays

9 —10:30 AM ECC PLAY GROUP – Wednesdays, ECC Gym. Evangelical Covenant Church | Whitehall (eccwhitehall.org) Building an encouraging community through play for kids and fellowship for parents!

OAISD Play ‘n Learn – 10 AM 2nd Wednesday of the month at Spring Lake District Library. Designed for families with children ages birth to 5 years old. Monthly sessions are based on a children’s book, with a story, finger plays, crafts, and activities centered around the book. Each family receives a children’s book to take home.. No pre-registration required.

11:15 AM – Family Storytime – Holton Library

Thursdays

Play and Learn at the Lakeshore Museum Center – 10 AM. During this program adults and children will have fun learning through songs, stories, sensory stations, motor skills stations, art, and more. Each theme will feature a new book and crafts for participants to take home for free!

Fall Dates: September 23, October 14 & 28, December 9 (November we will not host playgroup due to school programs).
