Lewis Farms & Petting Zoo
Lewis Farms is the perfect place to take your family for a fun day trip near Muskegon. If you live close to New Era, purchase a season pass so you can hop on over for a few hours to play.
If you haven’t been in the last week or so, they have an incredible new attraction – the Corny Barn! Over 2500 bushels of corn to slide, pour, climb, and play in. I don’t know who builds all the stuff at the farm, but wow, everything is so well built! My kids and our friends had a great time. We came out of this giant sensory bin covered in corn dust and I am still finding corn kernels that snuck home in our clothes – but IT’S SO WORTH IT!
The corn feels heavy and therapeutic like a weighted blanket for adults. The kids just love burying themselves in it or filling up buckets or dump trucks with the kernels.
There are so many other things to do too! Every time you go, they are building something new.
Lewis Farms also has so many animals to feed and pet. Camels, lemurs, parakeets, deer, goats, wallaby and more!
