Online School with Science Mom and Math Dad 11 – 1 PM EST. The science lessons are aimed at 7-12 year olds but we are hoping to present it in a way that will be educational and entertaining for the whole family. We have several fun trivia games and craft activities in between the science lessons.

Food – Muskegon & Grand Haven

Also, please note, whether a student qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program or not – ALL are eligible for free school food during the lockdown period ages 0 – 18.

Kids 15 and under will be fed for free over the next three weeks by Bone Ends in Whitehall and La Casa Fierro in Roosevelt Park.

Starting Monday the 16th from 12-3 on weekdays, all Wesco’s are offering a free popcorn to all school aged children.

SOUP OF THE DAY CAFE in Hart would like to offer free lunches to any school children in need. We know many depend on meals at school. We are open Monday through Friday 9 am til 2 pm. Can make arrangements for a different time to pick up. Just call us! 231-301-8338. WE Want to help.

Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant on Sherman across from Walmart will feed your kids until April 5. No purchase necessary. Kids 13-18 must bring school ID.

Getty Street Grill is offering free pancakes to all school aged children M-F 7 am – 9 am. Only take advantage of it if you truly need it so theres enough for everyone.

Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt in Whitehall will deliver kids lunches!

Tootsies will be offering all school aged children $2 kids meals and middle and high schoolers half off their meals with school ID. Offer is valid M to F, 6:30 AM – 2 PM until April 5. Dine in only.

Grand Haven / Spring Lake Free Meals for Kids

School meal program available for ANY CHILDREN 18 & UNDER in Ottawa County. If you do not have transportation, Harbor Transit may provide complimentary rides to Ferry Elementary, Lake Hills Elementary, and Hope Church. Please call 842-3200 to schedule a ride.

Muskegon / Oceana schools offer free meals for kids

Each school day an estimated 17,000 students receive free and reduced breakfast and lunch at schools in Muskegon County. Many families in Oceana County also rely on this service. All private and charter school students can access meals at the district in which they live. 

These meals are available throughout the school shutdown ordered by the Governor to all children ages 18 and under and students with disabilities ages 18-26 with an active IEP (Individualized Education Program) who either reside in or attend the district. Kids Food Basket is also compiling distribution information and will share on their website at www.kidsfoodbasket.org/locations/muskegon.

Fruitport Community Schools will be providing weekly meal service starting tomorrow and have posted information to their Facebook site. They are asking all parents to complete a survey on their website to help them better meet needs.

Hart Public Schools will be offering free meals for children on Wednesdays at noon at Spitler Elementary. Check their Facebook for any changes!

Holton Public Schools will work closely with Hand-to-Hand community partners to provide weekly meal service drive-through service or delivery.

Mona Shores Public Schools will provide “grab and go” meals for all students at its high school stadium parking lot from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. The Norton Shores Police Department will be assisting with deliveries. See their facebook for updates.

Montague Area Public Schools will provide meals through curbside pickup at Montague High School and the Rothbury Village Hall at 7804 S. Michigan Avenue in Rothbury on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. – noon. In addition, a mobile route has been set up for delivery to three additional sites. See the Facebook page for details.

Muskegon Public Schools will be delivering meals along the bus route. The bus route can be found on the Muskegon Public Schools Facebook page and on their website muskegonpublicschools.org.

Muskegon Heights Public School Academy System will be providing free meals along its usual bus route. Look under “news” on the website.

Children who live in North Muskegon Public Schools may access nearby districts for grab-n-go meals. 

Food deliveries for Oakridge Public Schools students can find food for pick-up on Fridays. Scroll down the page to find the many locations. If your family is unable to pick-up meals from the meal sites at the designated times/locations, or coordinate with your neighbor, you may complete this form (link) to request FREE delivery or other special accommodations.

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, Orchard View Schools will be on Tuesdays.

Ravenna Public Schools offer meal pick up on Fridays.

Reeths-Puffer Schools will provide a week’s worth of cold meals for pickup at the High School every Wednesday, beginning on March 18. Pick-ups will take place according to student last names. Those starting with A-N will pick-up between 9-10 a.m., and O-Z names will pick up between 11:00 a.m. to noon. Additional pick-ups may take place between noon and 1:00 p.m.

Shelby Public Schools is offering seven different locations for meal pick up.

Walkerville Public Schools will provide meals on Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Main Street delivery entrance daily. Bitely Church 12 – 12:15. Contact the school’s main office to request delivery.

Whitehall District Schools will be providing meals on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Whitehall Middle School, and at the Lakewood Club Village Hall from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays.
